TERROR AND FAMINE
The Holodomor
Remembrance:
The Holodomor was the Soviet Genocide of Ukrainians, Kazakhs, and other ethnic minorities through artificial starvation.
Because of policies perpetuated by Josef Stalin, anywhere from 3-11 million people died in Ukraine due to starvation, while food was being exported for geopolitical credit.
Many across the world, even today, have never heard about the Holodomor. Please take a moment to read about it, and understand some of the context of what is happening to our world today.

Update:
The Holodomor was only made possible due to the willing collaboration of Western journalists who downplayed and denied the starvation in Ukraine. One of the most egregious offenders is Walter Duranty, who published false information about the situation in the Soviet Union and recieved a Pulizter Prize for his writing. While Duranty is long dead, please sign this Change petition to have Duranty's Pulitzer revoked, both in honor of those who died due to his lies, and to hold all journalists to higher standards of integrity.
